Preparing Organic Parrot Food

• 1). Purchase an organic seed mix, such as TOP (Totally Organics Parrot) All In One Seed Mix.
  
  
• 2). Pour a couple of tablespoons of the All In One Seed Mix into a clean mason jar.
  
  
• 3). Add about a cup of clean, fresh water to the mason jar--enough water so that the seeds are thoroughly covered.
  
  
• 4). Allow the seeds to soak for at least 18 hours. This will encourage the seeds to germinate and begin to sprout.
  
  
• 5). Rinse the seeds by draining the water and adding new water to the jar at least twice during the sprouting process.
  
  
• 6). Drain the seeds thoroughly and serve to your birds. For any leftovers, store the seeds in the refrigerator. The stored seeds will be good for up to three days.
