    • 1). Walk up to a cooking trainer in any major city. Click on him to learn Cooking Master.

    • 2). Ask a guard where the Mage trainer is and walk or fly to the trainer. Click on the portal by the trainer for the "Blasted Lands." Fly through the portal in the Blasted Lands. It looks like a giant green rectangular and is near where the portal places the character. Fly to Honor Hold if you play an Alliance character or Thrallmarr if you play Horde after you travel through the portal. Purchase the "Ravager Dog" recipe from Cookie One-Eye (Horde) or Sid Limbardi (Alliance).

    • 3). Fly around Hellfire Pennisula and kill all of the ravagers you see. Loot them for their flesh. Gather 30 to 35 pieces of flesh.

    • 4). Open the menu listing your various abilities on the main toolbar. Open the "Professions" tab. Click on the fire to build one. Click on the icon that looks like a roasted chicken. Click on "Ravager Dogs" and then "Create All." Do not move the character while it makes the food. You will gain levels until the recipe turns grey. Once the recipe turns yellow and green, you won't receive a level with each created item. Make these until you reach a cooking level of 325, though if the recipe is still green and you have flesh left, use it up. It may give you more levels.

    • 5). Travel to Nagrand, the zone that sits on the other side of Shattrah City. Buy the "Roasted Clefthoof" and "Talbuk Stea" recipes from Nula the Butcher in Garadar (Horde) or Uriku in Telaar (Alliance).

    • 6). Kill Clefthoofs and Talbuks. You need between 35 and 40 total pieces of meat. Cook the meat to gain levels. Once the recipes turn grey and you reach cooking level 350, use your hearthstone to return to a major city.

    • 7). Visit the cooking trainer again. Learn "Cooking Grand Master." Travel to Northrend via boat or zeppelin once you reach level 68. Fly to the Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra. Complete the Northern Stew quest located where the zeppelin or ship drops you off in the zone.

    • 8). Farm chilled meat off any animal in Northrend to make Northern Stew until you reach cooking level 365, or the recipe turns grey. Do not sell the Northern Stew. You'll need it later.

    • 9). Return to a cooking trainer. Learn the "Rhino Dogs" recipe. Kill rhinos in the Borean Tundra to make the recipe. Make the rhino dogs until the recipe turns grey. It will take you over cooking level 400. If you pick up other types of meat, learn those recipes so the meat doesn't go to waste.

Complete the cooking daily quest in the major cities. You can only do one a day, though you can also do a Dalaran cooking daily too. The quests change each day, and each city uses a different set of quests. You will gain one or two cooking levels by completing the quests. Once you earn enough Cooking Awards, buy recipes from the vendor by the trainer. Choose recipes that will help you. For example, eating Striped Lurker will increase the character's stamina and critical strike for an hour. Find the materials to make the recipes by killing the various animals in Cataclysm zones. Make these recipes until you reach 525.
