The Picasso glass beads are the inspiration for these long dangle style earrings. They are accented with ornate brass beads and use brass findings and wire as well.

You will need the following tools and supplies:

*2 - 15x8mm Czech glass hexagon with Picasso finish
*2 - TierraCast brass oxide pewter Pamanda spacer beads
*4 - 6mm TierraCast brass oxide pewter daisy-style spacer beads
2 - Gold-tone head pins
6 inches of 21-gauge Brass wire
2 Brass ear hooks
Wire cutters
Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers
Nylon-nosed pliers
Jeweler's file
*These supplies came from Artbeads.com.

Wrapped Loop and Bead

1. Slip a Pamanda spacer bead onto a head pin, push it down to the bottom of the head pin, and make a wrapped loop, trimming off any excess head pin.

2. Using brass wire, make a simple loop aka unwrapped loop at one end of the wire.

3. Slip on one daisy spacer bead, one class bead, and another daisy spacer.

4. On the opposite side of the wire, make another simple loop aka unwrapped loop, and trim off excess wire.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other earring.

Either make your own ear hooks using 21-gauge brass wire or use pre-fabricated brass ear hooks, and connect them to the top of each earring component you previously made in order to finish the pair of earrings.
