How to Make a Valentine Candy Bouquet
- 1). Purchase a sundae glass at your local dollar store. Fill it with red and silver foil-wrapped chocolates. Insert a red and white striped candy stick in the side. Use small glue dots to glue clear cellophane wrapped white mints around the edge of the glass. The mints represent the whipped topping found on most sundaes.
- 2). Carefully poke chenille stems in between the chocolate candy, until the stems touch the bottom of the glass. Use craft wire to attach heart shaped lollipops to the sides of the stems. Hide the wire by wrapping red and white ribbon around it, knotting just above the mints and letting about an inch of ribbon flow freely.
- 3). Curl several pieces of red and silver ribbon. Each ribbon should be about 6 inches long. Use the glue dots to affix the ribbon to the top of the sundae chocolates and next to the mints to complete your Valentine bouquet.
- 1). Wrap a terra cotta pot in red or silver aluminum foil. Tape the foil to the inside of the pot to keep it from shifting or coming loose. Cut a piece of floral foam so that it fits snugly in the bottom of the pot. Cover the foam with shredded red and white paper.
- 2). Glue ribbon around the entire length of Popsicle sticks or wooden skewers. Hot glue candy bars, still in the wrappers, onto sticks. The hot glue will cool quickly, so it shouldn't melt any of the candy. Push the skewers or sticks through the foam with the names of the candy bars facing outward. Arrange the candy bars at different heights.
- 3). Clip various sizes of bows to the base of each candy bar. Have fun with your ribbon choices, using polka-dot, striped and metallic ribbons. Fill the area around the top of the pot with red and white tissue paper.
- 4). Glue your Valentine card onto a tall craft stick or tongue depressor. Place it in the center of the Valentine candy bouquet. Wrap a wide ribbon around the pot before presenting it to your favorite guy or gal.
