Fishing With Luncheon Meat
- 1). Slice luncheon meat into cubes. Either use luncheon meat with no additives or add a fish attractant to potentially increase the chances of catching a fish.
- 2). Put the luncheon meat in a zip-lock bag and add the flavoring, enough to generously coat each piece. Leave air in the bag and seal it shut. Shake the bag. Leave it in the fridge overnight to marinate.
- 3). Bring the meat with you to the fishing spot. Insert a hook through the meat.
- 4). Short-cast the hook by using a slower casting or underhand motion. The meat is relatively tender and susceptible to tearing. Longer casts can cause the meat to fall off.
