Handle Panic Attacks Painlessly

33
First thing is first, you have to understand that a panic attack will not hurt you in any shape or form, your body is simply trying to protect itself from something that it thinks is happening but isn't.
You may become short on breath but it will go away and you will resume your ability to breathe normally.
The brain is sending messages to its neurotransmitters that it needs to help defend the body, unfortunately the brain takes these neurotransmitters from certain functions that need them in order for you to operate normally which is why people can become angry, lose control, or struggle breathing when having a panic attack.
Luckily with the advances in medicine that we have had drugs such as benzodiazepine, also known as Xanax or Valium, can help handle panic attacks.
It fuels a certain neurotransmitter that will help handle panic attacks by bringing your brain back to a more normal state.
The drugs do have drawbacks in side effects and are not one hundred percent effective.
They might help handle panic attacks, but do not cure them in most cases.
It is vital that the people you are with whether they are you friends, family, or coworkers know that you have these panic attacks.
In order for you to be able to better handle panic attacks.
They can help you whenever they recognize that you are having one.
In order to recognize it, you should tell them some of the things that happen to you whenever you have one or perhaps create a signal for them to help them know that you are having one.
If someone else is around you when you are having a panic attack they can help you by removing you from the situation that caused your attack.
Be sure these people are willing and capable of helping you handle panic attacks as some people will not know what to do in these kinds of situations.
If you cannot be removed from your situation in order to handle panic attacks another great way of helping yourself is by doing something that you can control in that environment.
Whether that means putting knives, forks, and spoons in their appropriate spots in your silverware drawer then so be it, but the control will help you relax and overcome the attack.
It takes away the thought in your brain that it has lost control of what you are doing.
