Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus 3D DLP Video Projector Photos
The Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus DLP Video Projector features 720p display resolution capability (in both 2D and 3D). Also, unlike most DLP projectors, the Q7 Plus is "lampless", which means that it does not use a lamp/color wheel assembly to assist in projecting images on the screen, but, instead, employs an LED light source in combination with a DLP HD Pico Chip. This enables a much more compact design, as well as eliminating the need for periodic lamp replacement (not to mention lower power consumption).
As a companion to my full review, here is an additional photo look at the features and connections of the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus.
To start off is a look at what comes in the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus package.
Starting the back is the supplied carrying case, Quick Start Guide, Warranty Information, HDMI Cable, and MHL Cable.
Moving forward, on top of the Qumi Q7 Plus projector, is the CD-ROM (provides full manual guide).
Leaning in the front of the projector is the credit-card sized wireless remote control.
Finally on the left side of the projector is the VGA/PC Monitor Cable, and on the right side is the detachable AC power cord.
Also shown is a partial look at the front of the projector, with the detachable lens cover attached.

Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus DLP Video Projector - Front and Rear View
Here is a close-up photo of both the front and rear views of the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus DLP Video Projector.
Above and behind the lens (on the right side), are the Focus and Zoom controls located in a recessed compartment. There are also onboard function buttons on the rear top of the projector (out of focus in this photo). These will be shown in more detail later in this photo profile.
The bottom portion of the photo shows the rear connection panel of the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus.
Starting on far left is the AC power receptacle.
Moving from left to right, first is a USB connection, followed by two HDMI inputs. These allow the connection of HDMI or DVI source components(such as an HD-Cable or HD-Satellite Box, DVD, Blu-ray, or HD-DVD Player). Sources with DVI outputs can be connected to an HDMI input of the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus via a DVI-HDMI adapter cable.
Just below the two HDMI inputs is the rear mounted remote control sensor.
Moving to the right of the HDMI inputs is the VGA/PC Monitor input. The output jack allows users to loop an incoming input signal back out to another projector or video display device.
The VGA connection can be used to connect a PC or Laptop, or a Component (Red, Green, and Blue) Video source, device using a Component-to-VGA adapter cable.
Continuing to the right of the VGA inputs is the Composite video input, as well as a set of RCA-type analog stereo inputs, as well as a 3.5mm stereo audio input (green).
Finally, on the bottom right Kensington anti-theft lock slot.
