How to Turn Off a Palm Treo 600
- 1). Remove the battery to completely shut the Palm Treo 600 off. This is the only way to shut the device down, but when you insert the battery again the Palm Treo will automatically turn on and reboot.
- 2). Turn the screen off by briefly pressing the "Screen" button, which has a sun picture in it and a small picture of a lock in the upper right corner. This is the same button you press to turn the screen on. Click on the link "Palm Treo 600 User Manual" under "References" at the bottom of this screen and look at page 14. Page 14 covers how to turn the screen and wireless on and off and has pictures of the buttons you need to press.
- 3). Turn the wireless Internet off by pressing and holding the wireless button, which has a circle with a line through the top part of the circle.
