Drug Testing

• Drug testing is a logical test for jobs that involve public safety: driving, flight operations or heavy equipment operations. Objections supplant drug testing in favor of many issues: testing cost and settlement (employer or applicant), irrelevance to actual job, nondisclosure of testing procedure, prevalence of illegal drug users, information confidentiality, false positives or abnormal results and eventual losses to the company in the event of false negatives.
