Panic attack chest pain often accompanies panic attacks.
Such pain can be so frightful that it will send you straight to the doctor's clinic for help.

The sufferer also feels such strain in the other areas of the chest, or in the neck, jaw, or left arm.

It happens when the supply of blood to the heart is blocked.
When the supply of oxygen to the heart is impeded, this could cause Angina pectoris or severe pain in the chest.
The principal symptom is identified as a crushing pain in the center of the chest, which may spread to neck, jaw, arms and stomach.
This is usually concentrated on the left side and sometimes spreads to the neck and down the left arm.
This could cause tightness, chocking, heaviness or suffocation.
It is not an illness, but a manifestation that some underlying disorder is reducing the supply of oxygen to the heart.
The possible causes could be coronary artery disease or hypertension, aortic stenosis, and anemia or hyperthyroidism.
  If this chest pain is a result of anxiety or a panic attack it can be treated often without the use of drugs.
Anxiety disorders often mar an individual's life, but are highly treatable.
Unfortunately, there are medical practitioners who brush off patients with chest pain caused by an anxiety disorder.
In that case, sufferers might as well seek the help of understanding doctor.
A heart attack, panic attack chest pain, or any discomforts of the chest should not be taken lightly.
Matters like this should be treated as emergency; hence, medical help should be sought of immediately as the cause must be determined by a doctor.
