The Ramcharger Specifications
- The later Ramchargers were equipped with a Chrysler LA-series V8, usually the 318-cubic inch, 360-cubic inch or the big block 440-cubic inch. The 1993 fuel-injected 360-cubic inch engine had 16 valves. Its bore and stroke were four inches by 3.4 inches with a 9.2:1 compression ration. It generated 190 horsepower at 4,000 rpm with 295 foot-pounds of torque at 2,000 rpm.
- The Ramcharger was a two-door SUV with standard four-wheel drive, but was available with two-wheel drive. The full-time four-wheel drive's transfer case differential provided constant power to both axles. The vehicle had bucket seats with an optional rear bench seat. It had power disc brakes in front with rear drum brakes.
- The 4,145 lb. 1993 Ramcharger was 188.8 inches long, 79.5 inches wide and 69.7 inches tall. Its wheelbase was 106 inches. Its front track width was 65.6 inches with a rear track of 63.4 inches.
