How to Make Cake Flour by Sifting Flour & Corn Starch
- 1). Measure the amount of flour the recipe calls for using all-purpose flour. Use the flat edge of a butter knife to level off the top of the measuring cup.
- 2). Remove 2 tbsp. of all-purpose flour for each full cup added.
- 3). Add 2 tbsp. of corn starch to the flour for each full cup.
- 4). Pour the flour and corn starch mix into the sifter and sift them together.
