How to Make a Jewelry Display From Cork Boards
- 1). Trim the cork board to the size that you like. If you are going to frame your board, remove the cardboard from the frame and use that as a guide. If you are not using a frame, decide how big you would like your jewelry holder and cut it to the desired size.
- 2). Cut your fabric and leave about an inch around so you'll have enough fabric to attach it to the board.
- 3). Place the fabric over the board, and glue the excess to the back of the board to secure it.
- 4). Allow the glue to dry, then trim some ribbon to fit your board. Glue it on to the board however you would like, maybe one ribbon across the top and one across the bottom, or design your own cork board how you would like it to be.
- 5). Frame the board at this time if you are using a frame. If you are not, attach picture frame brackets to the top of the corkboard and hang it with push pins.
- 6). Add push pins or straight pins to hang your necklaces on. Line them across the top with plenty of hanging room for your necklaces. You will also be able to hang earrings on them as well.
