    Change Your Wallpaper

    • 1). Add an image to your photo album that you would like to use as a wallpaper. This may include a picture downloaded from the Internet or taken with the camera phone.

    • 2). Click the "Settings" icon on your home screen.

    • 3). Click "Wallpaper."

    • 4). Select the photo that you previously added to your camera roll, or select one of Apple's included wallpapers by clicking the "Wallpaper" tab.

    • 5). Click "Set."

    Add Custom Ringtones

    • 1). Click the"iTunes" icon on your home screen.

    • 2). Select the "Ringtones" option at the bottom of your screen.

    • 3). Scroll through the ringtones by scrolling through Apple's suggestions or by using the "Search" option at the bottom of the screen.

    • 4). Purchase a ringtone by clicking on the price.

    • 5). Select the ringtone by clicking "Settings->Sounds->Ringtone" and choosing your tone.

    Add Apps

    • 1). Tap the "App Store" icon on your home screen.

    • 2). Locate apps by using the options at the bottom of the screen. "Featured" will show you Apple's current recommendations, "Top 15" will show you the most popular and "Search" will allow you to locate apps based on your own criteria. You can also click "Categories" to filter apps according to type and find a broad range of options to suit your individual interests.

    • 3). Click the name of an app to learn more.

    • 4). Click the blue button if you wish to download. Depending on whether the app costs money, the green button will say either "Free" or will feature the price. The button will then turn green.

    • 5). Click the green button.

    Change Your Background

    • 1). Tap the "Settings" icon.

    • 2). Click "General."

    • 3). Click "Accessibility."

    • 4). Tap the "On/Off" switch next to the words "White on Black," so that it reads "On." Though Apple does not permit you to change the style of your background, you can switch it from black to white.

    Move Your Apps Around

    • 1). Place your finger on any app and hold it down until all of the apps begin to shake.

    • 2). Drag the apps in any direction with your finger.

    • 3). When you finish reorganizing your apps, press the home button.
