How to Make Wine Centerpieces
- 1). Wash out an empty wine bottle with soapy water and allow it to air dry upside down in a dish rack. Be careful not to get the label wet if you plan to keep it intact.
- 2). Fill the wine bottle with water. Insert one long-stemmed flower into the bottle. Choose a bloom that goes with the wine theme, such as a purple tulip, Iris or orchid.
- 3). Fill two identical crystal wine glasses three-quarters of the way with water. Add a few drops of food coloring to the water to tint it purple. Place one white floating candle into each glass. Another option: Fill one-quarter of the bottom of the wine glasses with sand, and nestle white tea lights into the sand to create a glowing display.
- 4). Place the wine bottle vase in the center of the table. Set one wine glass candle holder on each side of the bottle to complete the centerpiece.
