• 1). Click on the "Start" menu.
  
  
• 2). Click "Control Panel."
  
  
• 3). Click on the "System" icon.
  
  
• 4). Click "Automatic Updates" and turn it ON.
  
  
• 5). Wait for Windows to update your firmware.
  
  

OSX

• 1). Click on the button at the top of your screen that resembles the "Apple" logo.
  
  
• 2). Click "Software Update" from the menu.
  
  
• 3). Wait for the updater to scan your hard drive for available updates.
  
  
• 4). Select the updates that you want to install from the menu after the scan has completed.
  
  
• 5). Click "Install" at the bottom of the screen.
