Condition Your Mind So You Can Have It All

11
There are few people today who truly believe that they can have it all. Most have a pie mentality that says, "There is nothing left for me!"

There is more than enough success, significance, wealth, influence, prestige, etc. to go around. It is simply up to each of us to believe and act accordingly!

We can all learn a lesson from Donald J. Trump on this point, who states, "To entrepreneurs, thinking expansively includes seeing what is possible and making it happen."

Sadly, the first step in Donald's statement is far beyond many. To see possibilities requires a state of self-confidence that transcends normality. Self-confidence requires an accurate perception of true potential; this can be mistaken as pride. However, those who know who they are and where they are headed in life are merely free from limited thinking! Neil Miers exhorts, "There is more in you than you know!"

If we were to get a glimpse of the true potential that lies within our lives we would never again doubt our ability to have everything in life we have ever dreamed about. A few select individuals have broken through the barrier of insignificant thought and realized their massive dreams. This is available for each of us.

Dr. C. Thomas Anderson indicates once again that our thinking will determine what we see in life, stating, "Those who think like millionaires, however, see the opportunity rather than the problem."

Perception is a powerful thing. If you view life from the top of the mountain you will respond to circumstances from a place of dominion. If you view your life from the valley, you will instinctively react from that perspective! The difference between a successful person and someone who can never seem to get a "break" in life is simply their point of mental reference!

Bob Buess encourages us to "Live expecting favor and honor to change your disappointments into success." This may sound too simple to be possible, however, we must understand that our subconscious mind has a powerful directive influence on our lives!

Our perspective determines our focus in life. Dr. Mike Murdock suggests a powerful key to success in relation to focus. He declares, "Losers focus on what they are going through, champions focus on what they are going to." Our mental vantage point in life will determine how we view (focus on) circumstances. Our focus will determine whether we win or lose!

One perception that holds many back is that of a victim. Victims believe that everyone else has had everything handed to them on a plate but they will never succeed because that plate has never been handed to them. Keith Cameron Smith argues against this perspective, pointing out that "Most wealthy people weren't handed their wealth - they earned it."

Sadly, as Larry Burkett & Rick Osborne indicate in their book, "Financial Parenting" (1996), "...80 percent of all Americans receive some sort of government handout." This statistic has, today, become even more accentuated. With so many people living with a handout mentality it has become normal to expect an average life.

"Average people are average because of how they think...Successful people put the subconscious to work with visualization. The subconscious finds solutions outside of reason and logic." - Brian Klemmer

Brian Klemmer has presented a useful tool for the emancipation of the masses. If we would look to the resource of our inner consciousness and dream bigger dreams, we would instinctively accept greater solutions for the lives we live. Connecting with the resource of the subconscious will yield powerful results for us in life, business, entrepreneurial pursuits, and more. How do we begin to engage the resource of our inner consciousness?

1. Encounter Yourself

Merely start by taking stock of your prevailing thoughts. List positive or negative ideas, arguments, thought patterns that constantly spring up from within your subconscious thinking and enter your conscious thoughts. Take a serious look at your list and discover a picture of who you really are on the inside.

2. Neutralize all Limitations

Begin to confront each negative (limiting) thought, argument, attitude that pops up consistently. Strategically replace each thought with another thought. For example, if you think, I can't afford that special something, simply replace those thoughts with a verbal response, "I choose, at this point to place my financial priorities in a different direction, I can afford all things! My inner creativity is coming to my aid and I am becoming wealthy!"

3. Envision a Bigger Life

Place pictures around you of things you are dreaming about. Force your mind to think of these images (holidays, happiness, health, wealth, creativity, success, life expansion, etc.)! Your subconscious is like a gas tank. What you fill it with will determine how powerfully your life runs. Place amazing images into your mind and it will produce a return of amazing creativity and solutions.

4. Pursue your dreams

Take purposeful action steps towards your dreams. Take small steps at first. Fear immobilizes many. The cure for fear is appropriate action steps in the right direction. Fear is a false image of pain and discouragement. The only way to condition yourself for success is to take steps in the right direction to receive rewards for your actions. By celebrating small successes, we reinforce the power of action steps. This will lead to bolder steps and greater victories!

You can have it all... When we see a simple path to our dreams we instinctively take on the journey. This is human nature! My aim is to present simple life steps towards success.
