How to Get a Yorkie Poo CKC Registered
- 1). Take three full-body photos of the front, left and right sides of the Yorkie poo and print them out to include with your application to the Continental Kennel Club, if you don't know the name of the dog's sire and dam.
- 2). Download the Continental Kennel Club's "Canine Registration Application" from its website (see Resources).
- 3). Complete the application. Place the breed name -- "Misc - Yorkie poo or Non-purebred" -- in the corresponding field on the application. Include the color, sex, birth date and breeder name, if known. Include the owner's full name, address and contact information. Enter the sire's and dam's names. If the sire and dam are registered with the CKC, enter their CKC numbers. If you don't have the sire and dam information, name two witnesses on the application who can verify that the Yorkie poo is 6 months or older.
- 4). Select the "Registration" option on the application. As of 2011, registration costs $15. Enter your debit or credit card number and expiration date in the corresponding fields, or submit a check or money order payable to the "Continental Kennel Club."
- 5). Send the application, payment and photos, if applicable, to the address provided on the form.
