How Can I Prevent Aging While I"m Still Young?

19
It does make a lot of sense to start young when trying to delay the appearance of the signs and symptoms of aging.
Aging is inevitable, so preventing it is impossible.
The most you can do is only to delay it or reduce its impact, but of course you must not wait for the last minute to take the necessary measures.
The question is, how young should one be to start the journey? Well, there cannot be a single answer to that.
You see, there are different ways of preventing aging early on that may not necessarily begin at the same time.
Read on to discover some age-defying practices and the best time to start doing them.
Good Hygienic Practices Good hygienic practices are significant in delaying the aging process.
These can begin as early as infancy and developed as soon as one is responsible enough to take care of himself or herself.
Very early in life, good hygienic practices to promote good skin health may only involve simple washing of the face with a mild soap or cleanser two times a day, but as one enters adolescence, he/she may shift to cleansers that address issues like oily skin, makeup residues and so on.
Exfoliation may then be made part of one's weekly routine.
The recommended frequency of facial washing is still the same, though, whatever the age is.
Experts have issued a warning that over-washing of the face rids the skin of its natural oils and can cause irritation.
Good Eating Habits Good eating habits from the start can go a long way in delaying aging.
If, as a child, you have been trained to eat vegetables and fruits, and drink plenty of water, having beautiful skin (with no visible signs of aging) even at the age of 30 is very much possible.
Including vegetables and fruits (especially those that are high in fiber and water content, Vitamins A, B, C, and E, and antioxidants) in your daily diet helps maintain skin elasticity, makes the skin stronger, and protects the skin from damaging free radicals.
It is very ideal to start having good eating habits while you are still in grade school, nonetheless you can never say it is too late to start making wise food choices even if you are in your 30s or 40s already.
Exercise and Lifestyle Any way you look at it, how you live your life matters greatly.
Exercise and lifestyle are two more factors that can delay or accelerate the aging process.
To delay aging, it's always a good idea to start on an exercise program while you are still in your teens, or in your early 20s at most.
Good blood circulation is very important in skin health, and exercising regularly helps to ensure it.
Apart from exercise, you must avoid smoking, staying up late (partying or otherwise), and stress in all its forms.
Sunscreen The sun's harmful UV rays are among the identified culprits in the early development of aging signs.
That makes the need to use sun protection creams with SPF 30 more urgent than ever before.
If you get into the habit of using sunscreen at least 30 minutes before you go out (and then reapplying as the need arises) in your early 20s, there is a good chance of delaying the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone.
Perhaps, you can start with just plain sunscreen, but as you grow older, sunscreens with vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-aging properties will be more suitable to you.
The best thing about these age-defying tips is that these do not target your physical appearance only, but also your general well-being so you get to live a better quality of life longer.
