Word Perfect: How to Graph
- 1). Open a blank WordPerfect document.
- 2). Open the "Insert" menu located near the top of the screen and select "Graphics" from the list of available options. This will open a new window.
- 3). Select "Chart" from the drop-down menu inside the new window. This will create a new chart box in the document.
- 4). Double-click on the chart title to edit the name of the chart. Then double-click on the first data sheet box to open the data sheet edit window.
- 5). Optimize the "Legend" options in the "Data Sheet" edit window by opening the drop-down menu and selecting the appropriate option for the data you want to show in your graph, such as percentages, money and time.
- 6). Fill in each graph box, using the Tab button to switch from box to box. As you put the numbers into the boxes, the graph will change automatically. When done, click the X to exit the edit window. The graph will be complete.
