An Honest Opinion, Yeah Right!
If I were to put a specific word into Google to research a product, I would get back a page of links that say, "read this first, scam", "for an honest review click here", or "scam, read before buying".
These are all great attempts to get the buyer to click their link before anyone else's.
So what happens when you click on these links? Ninety nine percent of the time when you click on a site that says, "Scam, read first," it is a raging endorsement for the product.
As a consumer, we are always on the lookout for being ripped off.
What better way to draw your attention then to use the word we are all afraid of.
Scam.
But what about those sites that say they want you to read an honest review of their product.
Review sites are tough to judge.
Here is the reason.
Most people who have these sites do not use the product at all.
They base their reviews off of the product description and what they have read online.
The claims being made could be read on a number of websites.
In some cases, affiliates give there marketers a template to follow and most will just change the name on these templates so it looks like their own.
So what is wrong with someone using a template? Well, most people are lazy and will not change the information and input their own experiences.
It's impossible to get an honest opinion from someone that does not use the product.
So what makes a good honest opinion site? To me it must include an introduction of the person giving the review.
You should be able to relate to the reviewer and in turn you will be more likely to trust their opinion.
Also included in a good honest opinion site should be a good review of what the product does and what it can do for you.
It should answer the questions, why should I buy this product, and how is this product going to improve my life? One of the last things that should be included on an honest opinion web site is others are saying about the product.
This is important because it gets you more than one point of view to make your decision without searching all over the internet.
So next time you come across a web site that offers their honest opinion, ask yourself, does this sound like a script, is it too good to be true, if your answer is yes to both, then you might have found an affiliate marketer using a template.
