Common Ways to Add to and Improve Your WordPress Blog Appearance

Just scroll down to appearance then add new theme.

Where are all the font colors and sizes? Typically when you install WordPress, it will only show some options on your posts and pages.
There is a little button that sort of looks like a light board or keyboard.
If you hover the button it will say Kitchen Sink, click it and you will get a whole new row of options for you to use for fonts.

What if I want more ability to change my font size? While WordPress is known for having a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) usability it is not quite what you get with an Office Program.
If you want increased functionality in your WYSIWIG you need a plugin, a mini application.
You are going to scroll down to plugins, then add new and add TinyMCE.
Set it up and you will have increased font functions.
How do I change this function or add something? Many functions and features can be added by adding a plugin.

In the window on the right, type in the word related to what you need.
Look at the list and see which plugin has the best rating and matches your needs the best.

The first icon that looks kind of like a picture is for images.
The next is to add a link to a video.
The third is music hence the musical note.
The multi-pointed star image is for other uploads like a PDF.
When you click on one of these you will given the option to upload from your computer, use previously uploaded, or you can point to a URL or web address.
On pictures you can change where the image links.
