• Title 49 also requires public access to any submitted applications for transporting hazardous materials, pursuant to Section 105.25. In order to obtain records on file, you must file a request with the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration pursuant to Section 105.45.
  
  

Oil Transportation

• When transporting oil, packaging must be marked specifying that the shipment contains oil pursuant to Section 130.11. The transporter must also provide a written response plan in case of spills pursuant to Section 130.31.
  
  

Hazardous Materials Table

• Subpart B of Title 49 contains the Hazardous Materials Table. This table classifies various hazardous materials and specifies certain limitations on transporting each material, according to the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations.
