Emotional Anxiety Attacks Symptoms and an Easy Way to Get Immediate Relief

15
If you are experiencing anxiety of any kind, then you need to know what the emotional symptoms of anxiety attacks are.
Why? Because although you may have anxiety, you still need to know whether you are just a little extra stressed or whether you have an anxiety disorder that could lead to an anxiety attack.
As with most disorders there are both physical symptoms and emotional symptoms.
Here I will focus on the emotional symptoms of anxiety attacks.
If you have one or two of the symptoms I have listed below and only for a short time, then I suggest that you probably do not have an anxiety disorder.
It is when one or more of these symptoms are continually going on in you that there is cause for concern and you need to do something about it.
Here is a list of some of the most common emotional symptoms of anxiety attacks:
  • Restlessness
  • Irritability
  • Feeling tense and jumpy
  • Watching for signs of danger
  • Feeling as if your mind has gone blank
  • Anticipating the worst
  • Feeling tense and jumpy
  • Feelings of apprehension or dread
To elaborate a little, here are some emotional symptoms of anxiety attacks that can be a sure fire way to know if you have anxiety
  • Does your heart suddenly start pounding at great speed for no apparent reason?
  • Do you get the feeling of doom or dread and that a catastrophe is about to occur?
  • Do you find you have irrational fears that you can't shake?
  • Do you believe that something bad will happen if certain things aren't done a certain way?
  • Do you find your anxiety interrupts your ability to cope at your work, school or with your family?
  • Do you play the avoidance game because you can't face activities or situations?
  • Do you continually feel worried, tense or on edge?
To get rid of these emotional symptoms of anxiety attacks: Try controlling your breathing making it as natural as possible and yet at the same time not trying to avert the symptoms of anxiety.
Press on the nerve between your eyes with enough pressure to feel the nerve and observe whether your body starts calming down.
This nerve is part of the parasympathetic nervous system and has a role in controlling breath and heart rate.
I have found both of these very effective for immediate relief from anxiety.
