Falling Skies Season 3 Review
This Falling Skies season there were a lot of drastic changes compared to season's 2 final episode aired.
I had to watch Falling Skies last episode of season 2 just to be sure.
Tom is the new president and he has got himself an assistant Marina Peralta.
The problem is that Marina gets a very big part to play this season and the audience is not really ready for her because she practically showed up from nowhere while she is portrayed as if she was always there.
Hal is paralyzed in a wheel chair and to top that he is being controlled by Karen while there is a mole running around in Charleston screwing every plan of the resistance against the fish heads.
Moon Bloodgood was pregnant during shooting of this season, you just couldn't miss that.
it seemed like it was a completely different person playing Ann.
Moon got really big during her pregnancy and it was another big change this we had this season.
After we got used to Ann's new look she takes off and disappears on us for half a season.
John Pope still remains the most interesting character in the show.
episode 5 gave us an opportunity to see Colin Cunningham shine and have great exchanges with Noah Wyle, highlighting the major differences between the two characters, that episode solidified Pope as one of the most entertaining characters on TV.
One of the problems i had with this season in Falling Skies was the small details and lack of explanations.
How did the 2 mole crossed to the other side? I don't know whether they are waiting for season 4 to give us an answer or they just felt lazy and thought to let's just throw it out and see what happens.
Either way it felt bad.
I bet they won't even address the subject in season 4.
Season 3 of Falling Skies was still fun but if you would observe closely you would see that Falling Skies are running out of material.
The moment an apocalyptic show like Falling Skies does a virtual reality episode to the era prior to the apocalypse you know that this is the turning point of the series and its run on TV is about to end soon.
I know that the show was renewed for Season 4 but according to the recent episodes of the 2nd season the end of Falling Skies is very close.
