How to Resize & Crop Four Separate Pages Into One 5X8 Card
- 1). Select "Paint" from the Windows "Start" menu, then choose "Open" from the "Paint" menu. Navigate to any one of the four images, then click its name and click the "Open" button.
- 2). Choose "Resize" from the image pane. Select "Inches" from the "Dimensions" section, then input the dimensions -- 1.25-by-2 inches -- into it. Make sure that the 2-inch value corresponds with the longer side of the image to avoid accidentally cutting off part of the page.
- 3). Choose the "Select" tool from the "Image" pane, then drag it over the entire length and width of the page. Right-click and select copy, then close out of the image.
- 4). Open the second of the four images in Microsoft Paint, then resize it to 1.25-by-2 inches. Drag the small blue square to the right -- or, if the image is oriented vertically, to the bottom -- of the image until you have enough room to paste the other page in. Right-click, then choose "Paste" and drag the image to the right or bottom half of the canvas.
- 5). Click the "Select" button in the image pane once again, then drag it over the entire image. Right-click and choose "Copy."
- 6). Open the third image in Paint, then resize it to 1.25-by-2 inches. Expand the canvas so that it accommodates the two other images, then right-click and select "Paste." Select "Save" from the "Paint" menu, then click "Open" and open the fourth and final image.
- 7). Resize the fourth image to 1.25-by-2 inches, then select it and copy it. Exit out of the fourth page, then reopen the file you saved and right-click to paste the fourth page in. Drag the page to the remaining empty corner of the new 5-by-8 inch page, then save the file. Print it out to distribute it physically, or disseminate it via email.
