Where Is Unbiased Media?
How to get unbiased facts in the age of biased media? I'm a curious person and I like to know what's going on in the world as well as US.
But as many of you have undoubtedly found out, it's getting more and more difficult to find unbiased information.
I live in California and I find it more and more difficult to find a newspaper or online source of information that serves up straight facts instead of a sweet and sour cocktail of opinions and unverified rumors.
I tried Los Angeles Times, KTLA.
COM, Fox news, Huffington Post and numerous others and every time I really want to get down to what actually happened I have to read all the articles and then average and remove all the biases and hopefully arrive to an understanding of what actually happened.
And this is my recipe for a cocktail: take Huffington post, add a little bit of LA times, shake it really well and pour some Fox news on it.
Let it stand for a bit, then add a spoonful or two of KTLA.
COM.
Garnish with some Wall Street Journal editorials.
Take a sip.
If it's still too sweet or too sour, add some New Hampshire newspaper articles and pour some San Francisco Chronicle to top it off.
Let it stand for a while and take another sip.
If it's still not to your liking, try adding some Associated Press, although it may be either too sweet or too sour, depending on your taste buds.
Take one more sip and see how it feels.
Just don't drink it all at once!
