How to Insert the SD Card in a Blackberry Curve
- 1). Remove the back of your BlackBerry by pressing on the small silver button near the bottom on the back of your phone. While pressing in with one hand, use the other to slide the back cover up and then off your phone.
- 2). Remove the battery. Press down on the top of the battery while pulling back to release it from the back of your BlackBerry. The SD card holder is beneath the battery in the top left recess of the battery section.
- 3). Open the metal SD card slot by gently moving it toward its hinges. It will remain in place. This metal barrier will secure your SD card in place.
- 4). Press the SD card with the pins at the bottom facing downward and to the left. It will slide inside the metal holder. Push all the way to the left to seat it fully, making sure the metal contacts on the memory card touch the metal contacts in your phone. Close the SD card slot by pressing the metal piece downward and to the left. This will lock the SD card into your BlackBerry.
- 5). Replace the battery by inserting it down and pushing it back into place. Then, replace the back cover by lining up the edges and pressing downward securely.
