How to Clear My iPod Shuffle
- 1). Connect the iPod shuffle to the computer and open iTunes if it does not do so automatically.
- 2). Look in the device manager located on the left side of the iTunes window and find the iPod shuffle. Click on the shuffle to open it and display the contents and playlist.
- 3). Remove all files from the shuffle. While viewing the screen showing the files stored on the shuffle, click "Edit" located in the task bar at the top of the screen. Then choose "Select All." Next, choose "Delete." When asked, "Are you sure you want to remove the selected songs/files from your iPod?" click "OK." Your iPod will sync and all songs/files stored on it will be deleted.
