You can make cheap party favors that are great for the earth and your guests will love them.
These are easy to make and can be made in no time.
  To make a reusable cotton canvas bag you will need to buy unbleached cotton canvas which is sold in many fabric stores.
If you want to use other material, choose something that is durable and will hold up well.
You will need about 1/2 yards of material for each bag.
  Fold the material in half and cut out a piece leaving the bottom fold for the bottom of the canvas bag.
On the wrong side of the fabric sew about 3/4 of an inch at the top of the bag on both sides, and then sew the sides of the bag.
Since you have cut the bag with the fold as the bottom, there is no need to sew the bottom.
 This is already there due to the fold of the material.
  For the Straps or handles you can add left over strips of fabric which you can cut a piece of material 3 inches wide by 24 inches long, you will need 2 strips this size and sew them on the top of the bag for the handles.
  Once you have your bag sewed, you can then decorate it and personalize it for your event's party favor.
You can do many different things to decorate the bag, you can use iron on patches, or paint the bags.
You can also leave the bags simple, and add a tag to the bag with a ribbon when you are giving them out.
