How to Find My Green Card Number
- 1). Look on the back of your green card for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, USCIS, number, if you have your card. A USCIS number is the same as a alien registration number and begins with an A.
- 2). Replace your green card, if it has been lost, stolen or damaged so that you have access to your green card number. A fee is charged for replacing or renewing a green card.
- 3). File a Form I-90, which is an application to replace a green card and get your green card number. Visit the USCIS website to access the correct form and instructions.
- 4). Contact the U.S. consulate office nearest you, if you are outside of the U.S., to get assistance in replacing a missing green card or finding your green card number.
