How to Repair LCD Monitor Scratches
- 1). Remove any excess dirt, grime or dust on the LCD using a damp, nonabrasive hand towel.
- 2). Rub the scratch gently with the eraser of a pencil until the scratch starts to fade.
- 3). Wipe down the LCD again with the damp hand towel.
- 4). Dip a cotton swab into petroleum jelly and apply the jelly to the scratch. Fill the scratch completely with jelly.
- 5). Polish the scratch with a dry, nonabrasive hand towel. After polishing, the scratch should be significantly minimized if not gone completely.
