    Diet and Lifestyle

    • Learning the fundamentals of a healthy diet and lifestyle are among the offerings encouraged in employee assistance programs. Nutritional classes and motivational programs are offered through the Federal Occupational Health Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they also provide blood pressure monitoring and smoking cessation programs free of charge to employees.

    Mental Health

    • The Federal Occupational Health (FOH) Employee Assistance Program services employees of various organizations in the United States and abroad. The FOH provides counseling services and wellness seminars through the federal government. Counseling services are provided pertaining to relationship, family, depression and anxiety, work-related stress, substance abuse, and lifestyle changes. The cost is free of charge for six appointments.

    Legal and Financial

    • Large international organizations often provide legal and financial counseling services to their employees. Seminars on such things as quitting smoking or getting a better night's sleep may also be provided. For legal or financial assistance, employees will be referred to a local attorney or accountant and receive a free consultation. Discounted rates will be given if the accountant or attorney's services are retained. Financial counseling regarding credit card debt, family budgeting, and investment strategies is offered. Legal assistance pertaining to a living will, car accidents, housing, divorce, and criminal matters may also be provided.
