Meir Ezra's Teachings

10
Meir Ezra's seminars, such as those seminars from the popular Genius Tour, are sure to leave you with many valuable insights in between the various exercises for the body as well as for the mind. Most people will also find these events not only incredibly valuable, but also highly entertaining.

What Meir Ezra teaches in his seminars? He believes that people are basically good, because when we do something we know it is bad, we feel bad. I guess that leaves sociopaths out of this picture!

He insists on the definition of words. If you cannot define what is it that you actually want from a certain situation, how will you be sure that you indeed got "it" (or not!) - when you have not taken the time to define the outcome you prefer from the situation?

Meir Ezra says that the essence of genius is simplicity. Who is a professional? A professional is one who thinks it is simple. Meir Ezra is fond on the differences between an amateur and a professional. While an amateur thinks things are complicated and unpredictable, a professional knows that they are simple and can predict the outcomes. An amateur is frustrated, and a professional is effective, etc.

He even tackles the question of truth: the truth is defined, he maintains, as exact time, place, form and event that does not contain continuation. According to Meir Ezra, the lie is the opposite time, place, form and event, and continues.

He insists on the understanding of the mind, because everything we deal with – Meir Ezra claims – is nothing more than minds. That brings us to the question of purpose. He calls the purpose the fuel of the soul. What is your purpose and how are you going to find it?

He even touches on the problems of ethics, morality, and justice.

Do you have a problem you need to solve? According to Meir Ezra, a problem cannot exist without a lie. Where is a lie hiding in your problem? When you find it, you will resolve your problem.

Most people will certainly agree with Meir Ezra when he says that the view point that you take defines your life. Think about it! It is like the old adage: if you think you can, you can. If you do not think you can, you can not.

Here are some additional notes from the seminar that Meir Ezra did in Honolulu during his Genius Tour.
