How to Dye Orchid Blooms
- 1). Fill a vase or tall jar 2/3 full of water.
- 2). Add two to three drops of food coloring. Stir the dye into the water.
- 3). Cut the ends of the orchid blooms at an angle and place them into the water.
- 4). Set the flowers in a sunny spot. The water will move up the stem and to the petals, causing a color change. Remove from the water once they reach the desired color.
