Fish Species

• Anglers come to Lake Washington to fish many different game fish species. Some come to fish for trout as there are a number of species but there are also seasons and size limits for them as well. Salmon is also fished here as well as cutthroat, bass and perch.
  
  

Fishing Charters

• There are quite a few charter boats that will take anglers out on Lake Washington to fish. These charters offer overnight trips or just day trips with some being geared towards corporate clients and others towards beginners and children.
  
  

Warnings

• The department of Ecology has conducted a number of studies on the amount of contaminates found in freshwater fish. These studies determined that fish in Lake Washington have the second highest levels of contaminants in the state. Contaminants include pesticides, dioxins, PCB's and flame retardants.
