How to Make a Wedding Photo Collage
- 1). Choose the photos you want to include. Be sure to get the classics: vows, wedding cake, wedding party, first dance, and departure. Look also for great candid shots of the couple and guests.
- 2). Make color photocopies of the photos. This saves the photos and puts them on paper, which is easier to work with.
- 3). Select and copy a wedding invitation. Gather other artifacts that seem appropriate, such as small favors or a menu from the rehearsal dinner.
- 4). Go through your magazines and cut out appropriate, touching, and funny phrases.
- 5). Make labels and add phrases using paper and a calligraphy pen. If nobody knows calligraphy, you can do the same with fonts and a printer.
- 1). Attach a background paper to your base. This can be plain paper, leftover wedding programs, or a piece of fancy paper. Scrapbooking stores are great resources for fancy paper.
- 2). Place your labels appropriately near or overlapping with the photos.
- 3). Fill space with your artifacts and cutouts.
- 4). Make final adjustments for balance and appearance.
- 5). Glue everything in place. Heavier objects may need to be pinned into place, either while the glue sets or permanently.
