Many weddings and parties choose 'olives' or 'olive oil' as the theme of their party.
  And what a fun, rich and delicious theme it is! Homer referred to this particular type of oil as "liquid gold" and you might agree based on the cost of very fine and unique oils - as well as all the goodness that comes from it (for cooking, skincare and medicinal purposes).
For some, choosing an olive oil is as complicated as choosing a bottle of fine wine.
 The flavor of different oils can vary considerably based on the soil the olives were grown in, when they were harvested and how they are processed.
 Just like there are wine connoisseurs, there are  olive oil connoisseurs.
  Favors can, of course, refer to giving your guests actual olive oil - in a bottle, tin or some other container.
 You can even find containers with personalized labels with a bit of research.
 However, if there is a certain brand you want to give as your favor all you need to do is attach a gift tag with a pretty ribbon.
  Or it can refer to  related favors such as oil dispensers or soap made with the oil.
 Dispensers are a practical and, typically, beautiful favor  that enables one to control the amount of oil you are adding to a pan or a dish - an important ability to have for most cooks.
 Soaps made with olive oil are known to be pure and natural and will leave your skin soft and moist feeling.
