More and more research is showing that migraines produce damage to your body.
The longer you continue to have migraines, the more damage and the more extensive damage that is done.
It Isn't 'Just' Pain Any migraine sufferer would probably not be surprised to learn that a migraine attack is destructive.

But science is showing you are right.

Migraines Hurt The Brain In 2004 an article in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) suggested that certain types of brain lesions may be caused by migraine attacks.
A earlier study, done in the Netherlands, looked for two different kinds of brain lesions, both of which are small patches of dead brain cells.
One of these lesions is sometimes called a 'little stroke' and involves a blocked blood supply.
The other type of lesion is frequently seen in people with Alzheimer's or multiple sclerosis.
The study found that male and female migraine sufferers were 7 to 16 times as likely to have the stroke type of lesion in the part of the brain that feeds blood to the back of the brain.
The study also found that WOMEN migraine sufferers were significantly more likely to have the lesions associated with Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis around the ventricles of the brain.
Apparently, a migraine attack involves brain trauma which directly kills brain tissue.
It also seems clear that the more frequent the migraines, the more brain cells are destroyed.
What does this mean to you? Migraine should never be accepted as something 'you can live with.
' It's as if you have something attached to you, absorbing your life force, and you choose a solution that can make you a little more comfortable while your life force is being drained out of you! The solution is never to accommodate a migraine; the solution is to get rid of it.
