How to Attach a Baby Bicycle Seat

• 1). Install the support bar included in your baby seat kit so it rests on the bar between the bike seat and handle bars. While some styles of baby seats include clamps, others will have to be screwed in with a screwdriver or secured into place with a wrench. Make sure both ends of the bar are tightly in place according to the instruction manual included with your baby seat.
  
  
• 2). Connect the baby seat to the support bar with the front of the baby seat facing forward using either a screwdriver or wrench, depending on the model of your baby seat.
  
  
• 3). Insert the screw included with your bike seat behind the seat toward the rear of the bike. Do not tighten the screw until you adjust the baby seat.
  
  
• 4). Adjust the baby seat into position so you can comfortably maneuver the bike without the baby seat interfering with the handlebars. Once the baby seat is in its desired position, tighten the screw.
  
  
• 5). Ride the bike with the baby seat attached to ensure the baby seat is secured into place and that you are comfortable on the bike with the new attachment.
