How To Quickly Grow A Home-Based Business

13
You know the kind of woman I'm talking about; not only is her home immaculate and her children impeccably turned out, but she has recently started working in direct sales ("so I don't have to go back to work and leave my children in day care") and she is flying! How does she manage it? How does she bring herself to get out there, day after day, selling her wares and do it so well? Well, I'm not much use on the tidy home, but my children are pretty cool (my advice; never, ever issue idle threats - it isn't the severity of the punishment, it is the certainty that get's 'em to behave!) and I know why that woman is selling like mad and you're not.
It's her mindset that has clinched it for her.
Groan! I hear you say, but hear me out.
The only difference between her and everyone else is that her goal has real pulling power for her.
She doesn't have a Plan B, because she knows that the Plan B means that she doesn't believe in her Plan A - and she does.
Her goal is fixed in her mind and she can see how her life is going to be when she achieves it.
She can picture the team members in her 'downline', she knows how many of them there are and when she will add them.
She is on a mission.
We all start like that.
We all start new ventures on fire and we are unstoppable.
Then, life kicks in and we start to avoid doing the things that we know we need to do to sell more of our stuff - because let's face it, the only way to grow a small business is to sell more stuff.
That avoidance behaviour is also called procrastination and boy-oh-boy are we good at it.
But...
What if you didn't allow yourself to get sidetracked? What if you made your goal SO strong, with such massive pulling power, that every time you were tempted to procrastinate, you could pull yourself back to the task in hand - selling your stuff.
To quickly grow your business, make no mistake, you need to sell more of your stuff.
So, get over your fear of selling.
Get over that fear, stand tall, shoulders back and get selling.
If that woman can do it so can you!
