Are you frustrated with your barking dog? Barking is normal for a dog, but excessive barking is annoying and frustrating.
 Many dog owners don't know what to do and they just give up and let their dog bark.

In this article I am going to give your some tips on how to stop your barking dog.
First you need to determine why your dog is barking.
Is he lonely? Dogs are pack animals; they are used to companion ship.
Do they want attention? Are you in any danger? You need to learn the difference in your pet's barking.
If there is danger around you want your dog to bark.

• Don't yell at your dog and tell him to stop.
   Dogs are very loving and forgiving creatures and they get excited.
   Yelling at them will only cause them to bark more.
  
• Calmly and with authority tell him to "stop" or "no".
   Then give him a reward such as a treat when he is not barking.
  
• Take your dog for a walk.
  Exercise is a great way for them to work off their excess energy.
  
• If your dog barks while in the yard, bring him inside.
  
• If he barks when you leave the house, leave the TV or radio on.
  
• Buy a crate for them to sleep in.
   This will become their home and will know to sleep and be quiet when they are in their crate.
  
• Buy another dog.
   A companion will keep each other company but, it may also cause more barking.
  
• Buy a toy to keep your dog occupied.
   Many dogs love to play or chew on a toy for long periods of time.
