Yoga originally did not requires such dedicated ranges of clothing, when it was first practised no more than a loin cloth sufficed for the ancient Indian yogis. However not everyone is comfortable in wearing these and many women prefer something that is longer in length. Harem crop pants or yoga crop pants are perfect of you wish to have more cover. Not too fitted but fitted mid calf they will still allow you to enjoy the postures without worrying too much.

Of course most women also like to own their own yoga mats as women are more squeamish about sharing the sweaty mats at the studio. Manduka mats are very popular for both men and women; being ethical and made with almost natural materials they offer quality and endurance. Yoga accessories are not far behind either and yoga head bands, water bottles and props are all popular items to buy.
As yoga styles differ with some being more rigorous like Ashtanga as well as Power yoga you may want to consider buying some fitted clothing. By fitted it does not have to be tight but gently shaping your body so that you feel comfortable enough when doing postures like the downward dog for example.
