Each tablet is elliptical, scored and imprinted with the word "MEDROL" followed by what milligram strength it is.
- Before beginning to take Medrol Dose Pack, you should speak with your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: kidney disease, diabetes, liver disease, a thyroid disease, a history of malaria, osteoporosis, tuberculosis, a muscle disorder, glaucoma or cataracts, herpes, depression or mental illness, stomach ulcers, congestive heart failure, ulcerative colitis or high blood pressure.
- As with all prescription drugs, there are many reported side effects from Medrol Dose Pack that you should be aware of before taking this medication. Stop taking Medrol Dose Pack immediately and contact your physician if you experience any of the following side effects: swelling, rapid weight gain; feeling short of breath; problems with your vision; severe depression; bloody or tarry stools; coughing up blood; low potassium; seizure; coughing up blood or dangerously high blood pressure.
