Fire Lake Camper Park

• Fire Lake Camper Park offers something for everyone. For those looking for excitement, whitewater rafting on the Maumee River or Portage River is available. Visitors can even spend time working on their golf game at the nearby Bowling Green Country Club or Stone Ridge Golf Club golf courses. University Pond and Van Buren State Park are popular attractions for outdoor enthusiasts, as is hiking along Lake Shore Trail. Fire Lake is situated on an eight-acre lake and also has a variety of amenities, including a small grocery store, laundry facilities and a dump station. The park is open from May 1st to October 14th. There are 96 RV sites, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet in length.

Pleasant View Recreation

• Pleasant View Recreation is located approximately 20 miles from Bowling Green. This campground has 350 sites and is located next to Van Buren State Park. This family-friendly campground offers numerous planned activities for the entire family. Throughout the summer season, Pleasant View also has special events. Memorial Day weekend finds games, contests, an arts & crafts show and more. In June, families can come out and compete in the Family Olympics. Fourth of July weekend will find campers decorating their campsites in the campsite decoration contest, taking part in the scavenger hunt, playing candy bar bingo, along with a variety of other activities. The campground amenities include an outdoor pavilion and an indoor meeting room for group gatherings. On site, Pleasant View also features Wi-Fi access, a laundry facility, shower facilities, a small grocery store, a small fishing pond, a game room and a restaurant. A member of the Good Sam Club, Pleasant View is open April 17th through October 15th.

Toledo East/Stony Ridge KOA

• Toledo East Stony Ridge KOA is located just 11 miles from Bowling Green. Toledo East/Stony Ridge KOA offers the wide variety of amenities for which KOA campgrounds are known. Shade trees at each site help provide privacy, while a picnic table and campfire ring located at each campsite offer convenience. Full-service RV sites include cable, starting in May 2010. Toledo East/Stony Ridge offers visitors a variety of activities to wile away the time. Visitors can enjoy a round of mini-golf or swim in the heated pool. There are also hay rides each weekend. The location is not only convenient to Bowling Green, but is also only 15 miles from Toledo, with attractions such as the Toledo Zoo and Cedar Point Amusement Park.
