Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta in the movie The Hunger Games. A baker's son, Peeta is one of the lucky ones in District 12. He has food to eat, and his father doesn't have to work in the dangerous coal mines. But, his luck changes for the worse when he is chosen to be the male competitor, alongside female competitor Katniss, in the Hunger Games, an annual fight to the death. Peeta and Katniss must travel to the Capitol and compete in a reality TV style battle in which the last one living wins.
