How to Get Rid of Mites With Kleen
- 1). Mix 1 oz. of concentrated Kleen Green with 32 oz. ( four cups) of water in a plastic spray bottle. A jigger is 1 1/2 oz., so measure a little less than a jigger, although a precise ratio isn't necessary.
- 2). Spray the Kleen Green mixture on all the surfaces in your home that are waterproof. Concentrate where dust mites tend to congregate the most: mattresses, box springs, pillows, upholstered furniture, carpeting and stuffed animals.
- 3). Repeat the spraying of all the surfaces in your house every week.
- 4). Put dust-proof covers on your pillows, mattresses and box springs.
- 5). Wash bedding and stuffed animals every week in hot water that is at least 130 F.
- 6). Remove carpeting whenever possible and replace it with wood floors or tile. Avoid using curtains or drapes on your windows.
- 7). Vacuum your carpeting as often as possible and spray with Kleen Green.
