Consistency Is The Key - To Staying The Course To Change
I like to start with defining a word for better clarity.
Consistency means firmness of constitution or character: PERSISTENCY, harmony of conduct or practice with profession.
Being consistent helps you to be focused and disciplined to see something through to the end, or completion.
Being consistent helps you to have follow through.
Your words and actions come into play when choosing to be consistent.
Your words must match your deeds to complete the task at hand in excellence and consistency.
Change is the only constant in life and we can choose to change for the better.
Everyone needs to improve in some area of their life but it begins with being consistent to the process of positive change.
Consistency is the bridge between your old habits crossing you over into your new positive productive habits.
Consistency helps you to be disciplined and stay the course to get the desired results of a better life.
Without consistency you will not follow through to see the positive changes you desire.
It gives you the motivation you need to continue to move forward even when it's hard because it helps you to see the goal.
As you continue to operate in consistency it becomes a part of your character.
A consistent person is a reliable person.
There's so much to gain to develop in consistency.
It will bring order to everything you do.
Let me give you some steps to becoming consistent: 1) It starts with making a decision 2) (Once you make the decision) Get a plan of what goal(s) you would like to accomplish 3) Implement and set a time limit to accomplish the plan by taking small steps and doing at least one positive thing towards your goal daily until it is completed, then move onto your next step in your plan.
Remember your plan may require the assistance of others to accomplish.
Make sure they are reliable and consistent as well.
4) Repeat first three steps Developing in consistency is like how a body builder goes about building muscles they get stronger and the desired results with consistent weight/strength training.
The same is true with consistency you have to work on your goal(s) daily and you will become more resolved and stronger in your consistency to see the goal(s) through to the end.
We cannot do anything worthwhile without it.
Application of the steps is the only way to become consistent and seeing the fulfillment of your goal(s).
