Collecting Collection
About Collecting We all collected something when we were kids.
Cards, stickers, cars, newspaper clippings of our favorite singer or band, what about your movie well you get the point.
Sometimes it was as simple as a rock collection.
Never any costs and always in abundant supply.
Of course there are some collections that are far from some ordinary rock collection.
Now we will cover three types of collecting so you get the grand scheme of what collecting is all about.
First is the profit collection.
This collection is all about the money.
These are items purchased for the what they hope an extremely large resale value.
These will be well taken care of and probably hardly ever touched, if ever.
They will also have some common theme tying them together.
Examples of this would be items from a popular movie or band.
A rare comic book collection is another example of a profit collection.
Some really old or hard to find comics can resale for some serious cash.
This type of collections is fine, but is rarely seen by anyone, and most of the time the items live in a box in the attic or garage.
Next is the like it collector.
They must find several types of a certain subject.
A person who collects frogs, fills most of the space they can with frogs is a perfect example.
There is nothing wrong with it they just like frogs a lot.
These people collect for,collecting not for there money value, as the profit collection.
Most would not even consider leting go of their collection.
They have spent large amounts of time on there collecting, just to sale out.
Some may have spent there entire life collecting this item or items.
Lastly is the love it all, must have it all and more then everyone else.
This collector is trying to find everything on their subject ever made present and future.
They are most likely trying to set a world or global record and must have it all.
These are true collectors and just as the like it collectors, they too would not likely aution their collection but are more prompt to open some type of museum or find them in the record books.
Which ever section your collection falls into, remember that most importantly, collecting is a hobby and be enjoyed.
Have fun however you collect.
If may find that you end up having more then one type of collection.
