Mini Me

• A Mini Me costume can easily be recreated with a light gray suit and bald cap. If your head is already shaved, the costume is even easier. Add a scar to the right side of your face by pulling a cotton ball into a long string, covering it with liquid latex and applying it to your face. Be careful not to get the latex into your hair or clothing. Finish the character by running around yelling "Eeeeeeeee!"
  
  

Oompa Loompa

• The Oompa Loompas in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" are very memorable due to their outrageous makeup and wigs. You can recreate this look with a pair of white pants and a brown, long-sleeve shirt. Wear white suspenders and gloves to finish the costume. Buy a green wig and orange makeup, which and be found at any costume shop. Apply the makeup to your entire face, neck and ears. Finish the look by filling in your eyebrows with a white makeup pencil.
  
  

Tattoo

• Everyone who has watched "Fantasy Island" can remember Tattoo, played by Hervé Villechaize. To create this costume, simply wear a white suit and shoes with a black bow tie. Add a festive lei to finish the costume. To really get in character, run around pointing to the sky and shouting, "Ze plane! Ze plane!"
  
  

Fantasy Characters

• There are many options in this category to play with. You could go for the "Lord of the Rings" dwarf in full battle armor and battle ax, or the more lovable "Snow White" variety, wearing simple clothes and carrying a pickax. Very similar to dwarfs are gnomes, which can be modeled after garden gnomes. Santa's elves also make popular costumes, as well as elves from fairy tales.
  
  

Small Versions of Other People

• Little people should not be limited to dressing up as fellow little people. Consider dressing up as a miniature version of your favorite characters instead. Dress as a biker in full leather, or as a lumberjack wearing flannel and carrying a full-sized ax. Other options include bullfighter, construction worker, Olympic weightlifter and secret service agent.
  
  A variation on this theme is to dress as a miniature version of a historical person. It should be someone who is easily recognized from their appearance, such as Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Cher and Groucho Marx.
